A Meal with Giordano this Sunday!

Giordano is cooking and you are invited! We haven't put on the likes of the upcoming lunch since the famous dinners of the mid-nineties. This Sunday, December 14 at 1 pm, we will serve a multi-course lunch prepared by Giordano featuring some of the traditional family recipes from his book plus other family favourites. Wines will include new releases such as our Ortega 2013 and Sassi 2012 and the meat course will be accompanied by a flight of our Pinot Noirs from 2008 to the future 2012 release.  You will sample the 1990 Legacy, our first ever release of our balsamic vinegar drawn from the oldest barrels in our estate grown series. A few bottles of this rare elixir will be available to guests for purchase.

We regret that cannot accommodate major dietary restrictions at this event. The set menu meal will include meat, seafood, wheat products and dairy. If you have any other specific allergies, for example nuts or garlic, let us know. If we can't accommodate them, we can keep them in mind for future events. This very special leisurely meal starts at 1 pm. Cost is $125 all inclusive. Reservations and pre-payment are required. Space is extremely limited, so reply now to book. Don't forget your name, phone number and how many in your party. If you can't make it this weekend, let us know if you'd like us to do another the following weekend.

It's not too late for those of you too distant to visit to have some delicious goodies sent to you or the special people in your life - we have a gift wrapping service for $5 per package. The most economical Expedited Parcel Post to the US should be sent today or tomorrow to make it by Christmas(cannot include alcohol). Within Canada, Expedited Parcel Post sent by Dec. 10 will have no trouble making it to the most distant corners of the country. Xpresspost is a Canada Post guaranteed (or your money back) option for parcels mailed by December 17. Up to four bottles of balsamic vinegar can fit in an Xpresspost bubble envelope.
