Our 100% estate-grown Verjus is pure unfermented grape juice pressed from our own grapes, picked before ripeness, to make a versatile and vibrant sweet/tart condiment. Alas, disaster struck in 2023 and we weren’t able to bottle in 2023.

Verjus has been used since the Middle Ages as an alternative to lemon or lime and is enjoying renewed popularity as a versatile, vibrant condiment. Marinate seafood and meats, prepare a salad dressing or a delicious sauce, deglaze a pan, create a sorbet, a cocktail, or a multitude of culinary delights. Best used within six weeks of opening.

The label does NOT depict chicken nuggets and fries. The artist Giordana Venturi (about 3 years old at the time) titled it “Naked Prehistoric Girl by Fire”. Both she and the verjus were immature and innocent. Giordana now has a 4 year old daughter of her own.
