1990 Legacy Release and Holiday News - November 16, 2019
We have bottled the 2019 release of our magnificent 1990 Legacy Ancient Method Balsamic vinegar (drawn from the 1990 head barrels of our estate-grown traditional series) and Giordano has completed making enough of the wooden gift boxes to release to those who subscribed and prepaid. We will be mailing them out (or have them ready for pickup) on Monday November 18. I will be emailing subscribers today to see if they want to add an additional bottle of the 250 ml Classic Balsamic Vinegar to their orders at no additional shipping cost.

Drop in between 10 am and 3:30 pm on Saturday December 14, 2019 to see the balsamic vinegar ageing room and have a taste of the various stages of our vinegar production. Yum!

Wines
The 2015 Pinot Noir is now available and is receiving rave reviews from our regulars. It is wonderful with all red meats and earthy vegan dishes, too. Brimming with rich, fruity and complex flavours, it is great now (we did the initial ageing) and it is a keeper, too.
Marilyn’s favourite bubbly, the 2017 Brut Naturel Rosé, with its light, delicate pink hue and fine mousse, is also now available. Not just for celebrations (which of course always deserve some bubbles), it pairs with a wide range of main courses and appetizers.
The 2013 Brandenburg No.3 sweet wine continues to be a best seller with customers near and far. There is nothing like it in the world! Think cheese and pâtés and check out our recipe page for pairing and cooking ideas.

Mixed Half-Cases of Whites
A limited number of mixed half-cases of white wines will be available in the wine shop in December for $84.60, all taxes and bottle deposit included. These are not available online for shipping.
Shipping Standards
Canada Post has been the most reliable method of shipping for us with our online account. If you live afar and would like anything shipped for arrival before Christmas, please get your online order to us before the end of November to allow plenty of time. If we mail an order by December 10 using Expedited Parcel Post to Canada and US destinations, it should still make it, but no guarantees. Xpresspost deadlines are Dec 12 to the US and Dec 19 to Canadian destinations, but again, on-time guarantees don’t apply during the holiday season.
If you have a courier account, we are happy to have your package picked up by the courier of your choice on your own account. Just let us know.
