We grow all of our wines naturally and sustainably: no pesticides or herbicides and plenty of care and attention in the vineyard. We have never been interested in creating products that mimic other wine regions. Starting our vineyard in 1987 in this pristine environment gave us the opportunity create adventures expressing the uniqueness of each season, our terroir and the personalities of each of our family team members.
Red and Rosé Wines

this dry, deep rosé vintage of Maranello is composed of two vinifera grape varieties: our Pinot Noir and Zweigelt. Zweigelt, an Austrian grape, is a crossing of St. Laurent with Blaufränkisch, named for the original grower Friedrich Zweigelt. Made by Michelle Schulze with the help of her young son, Connor, who pressed the grapes by foot. 10% alc./vol.
Another great vintage of our Pinot Noir is now available! Pairs well with lamb, beef and bold cheeses. Aged two years in older Nevers French oak barrels. We cannot ship outside of Canada. Ship within Canada only.

This 100% Zweigelt is named for the ravens that flew back and forth over the vines to steal eggs from our neighbour’s chickens & ducks. Its aromas bring to mind cassis & black pepper . Our family likes its structured with tannin typical of Zweigelt, good acidity & barely-there French oak This medium weight wine should cellar well for years to come.
